The human body is at contestant battle to maintain equilibrium. Daily functions revolve around being in control of balance and stabilization prior to performing any kind of movement. If one were to learn how to become more aware of his/her own center of gravity and how to use it in their advantage, simple movements would become even easier and harder movements would seem more obtainable. 

Think about it, did you learn how to walk in one day or did it take time to be able to do what you know consider to be part of your daily doings without even putting any extra thought behind it? The answer is no, of course. Start developing that much needed confidence today and you will obtain what you once considered to be hard or impossible tomorrow!©
